Rules of the pub.

01

Three kilometers earns one pint.

A pint is 500 ml and about 200 calories. One kilometer of running burns about 75 calories for a 75 kg runner. Three kilometers on the legs balances one pint on the bar.

02

Cycling counts half.

Six kilometers on the bike earns one pint. The cyclists will complain. They always do. Take it up with thermodynamics: pedalling burns about half the calories of running per kilometer.

03

What is earned today, drinks today.

Pints do not roll over. You cannot bank six months of running and write it off on a Saturday. That is not how pubs work, and it is not how legs work either.

Sea Point Promenade, Cape Town. 6.6 km out and back, drawn over the real street network from OpenStreetMap — no map tiles, no image request from your browser. The first and last 300 m are cut off, as they are on every shareable render.

The tab map

Every run draws itself.

Your route comes back on the pour slip, on the Monday coaster, and on the race map. Real streets underneath, your line on top, in the pub palette rather than somebody else’s map style.

Monday’s beer coaster for your group chat.

Every Monday we print you a coaster for the week you just finished. Your runs, turned into pints, turned into a square image your mates actually want to see in the group chat. Screenshot it. Brag.

52 coasters a year. No filters. No motivational quotes. Just your numbers, on a nice round piece of card.
